Collan was on food, 10/10 for wings.. every single sauce is house made, including ranch and blue cheese. French fries are fresh cut and fried- never frozen! So delicious. They had a special running for a Cuban sandwich- including in house smoked pulled pork! This place knows how to combine an alternative dive-bar feel with excellent food. Roxy was our bartender who immediately remembered our drink order, always had a good vine and great music playlist. The Alleyway bar is very welcoming for all types of folks. Shared lots of laughs with the regulars. WILL COME BACK!!
The Alleyway Cafe and Bar is one of the last strongholds of Alberta pub scene that truly has live music. This bar has been rocking it for over a decade now, with pin ball machines, pool tables, beer and food specials, karaoke, a large, covered patio and the smallest bathroom in the NE. The Alleyway seems to be the last true dive bar in the district unfortunately, but it is a great place to go meet friends for beers and or a cocktail. Kids are allowed till 8pm, so no kids past dark. Ha. Used to be 10pm until we brought ours to 10pm and they soon changed that. Great place, nice employees, and great atmosphere.
Best dive bar on Alberta. Come for the booze, stay for... uh... more booze! They have a patio.
Not too bad of a hole in the wall. Cold beer and food on the menu. Can't ask for much more from a bar.
Casual Dive with an art-y atmosphere and lots of fun creative types. Great menu (for both veg and non-veg), large covered patio, pool table, Photo Booth, and the occasional punk show.
